- Unburdening service: we provide professional CSI services in an unburdening manner, at no cost (to the business and the NPOs) by:
- 1. fulfilling financial requirements and delivering high quality service;
- 2. arranging agreements, progress reports, field visits if desired etc.;
- 3. guiding CSI donors and NPOs through the whole process and giving advice.
- Network: we provide a network of 33 reputable, tried and tested, autonomous NGOs across the country with hundreds established initiatives for CSI funding. The network offers a wide variety of options/choices in terms of activities a funder may wish to support;
- NPO compliance: we assist businesses/funders to meet their CSI objectives through organisations that have a proven track record of compliance, good governance, audited financials, transparency, committed to quality service, and effective reporting systems;
- Acknowledgement: we ensure that all our member organisations provide all their CSI funders with acknowledgement letters which reference their PBO status registration numbers for tax purposes, for the contribution they made both in monetary and/or non-monetary form;
- Recognition: we initiate and arrange recognition for companies which have participated in our program in a professional way;
- ME&R: we provide ongoing support for monitoring, evaluating and reporting to ensure compliance (regular reports, updates on request, field visits when desired etc.);
- Accountability: we are accountable to both funders and NPOs by maintaining and facilitating proactive and open communication;

MAMAS Alliance CSI Agency’s unburdening services to NGOs
- CSI guidance: provide NGOs with well researched and packaged CSI funding information which is available and relevant to the programmes the NGOs provide or wish to provide;
- Clear understanding of business wishes and preferences: provide NGOs with a comprehensive list of each funder’s requirements for funding;
- Linkages: help them meet interested funding partners through the CSI initiatives;
- Collective marketing: offer a support service to NGOs through collective marketing supported by individual and personalised information per NGO;
- Packaging support: support in packaging the services, programmes and activities that the NPO runs for presentations to potential funders;

- Proposal and report writing support: support with preparation of CSI funding proposals and the packaging of services, programs and professional report writing;
- Support for compliance: with legal requirements, financial audits, good governance, and reporting;
- Children's Fund MAMAS funding: securing CSI funding will not compromise the NGOs funding from MAMAS negatively but will complement its programmes and service;
- Sector information: provide NGOs with updated and current information on developments which are relevant to the NGO sector;
- Assistance with registrations: in some cases, potential funders require NPOs to be registered with certain institutions/bodies as a minimal requirement when applying. We will assist member organisations with guidance on these processes;
